Nevada Revises Law – No Time Limitation For Reporting Criminal Convictions

Last week, Nevada Governor Sandoval signed S.B. 409, which revised the law pertaining to the preparation of background reports by consumer reporting agencies.  The most notable revision in S.B. 409 is the elimination of the 7-year reporting restriction for criminal convictions, meaning in Nevada there is no longer a time limitation for which a criminal conviction may be reported.  (Here …
